An interesting pick up - RAAF darkened bronze KC cap badge with Scully Montreal makers mark to the rear. Is this for Australian airmen joining through the Empire Air Scheme or just being supplied with a badge made in Canada?

I believe it was made and issued to RAAF members of the Empire Air Training Scheme training in Canada.

Made for RAAF airmen in the. BCATP. Nice badge. Now please find an officers eagle cap badge marked Scully. Never seen one. Not even sure if they exist.

Its (as Dave says) British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) as opposed to Empire Air Training Scheme (EATS) which was South Africa and Rhodesia.
Dave, I have Brit, Canadian and Australian made RAAF Officers cap eagles. Im pretty certain the Canadian one is Scully marked although its on card with bend over prongs so I'm loathe to remove it to see! |

Yes, the Canadians made a blackened/oxidised badge to issue to the guys who were commissioned "off course" as Pilot Officers.

If you can see a Scully mark please share it. I have never seen an officer/WO wedge cap badge.
