Default RHA Victorian Buttons?

I have two uniform buttons believed to be RHA from the Victorian period. A group of us are seeking to reproduce uniforms of the RHA that would have been worn during the Boer war.

Can anyone identify the buttons and place a date on them? Particular attention is brought to the shape of the crown with squared-off arches. These buttons are stamped "JENNENS & CO LONDON" Which may also help date them.

From c1873 to c1901, but they would not have been changed immediately.
