Thanks for that, It does appear to be a Canadian nursing buckle

Its not specifically Canadian or Nursing.

Its a Victorian General Pattern Officers Levee wear waist belt clasp for Volunteers as its Silver with a Gilt Royal Crest.

Worn by officers in many units of Infantry and Arms and Services.
