Default University of Alberta COTC opinions please

Looking for opinions on this badge, i have never owned one so dont have anything to compare it too. It looks very similar to a known copy. According to Brookers COTC book it is suposed to have flat sheet cut lugs, and is listed as white metal. Does anyone have a known original that they can share?

Default U of A COTC hat badge.....

121155:
Definately a repro hat badge.
Lost wax mold manufacture.
I`ve seen these marked COPY on the reverse- also ones that are unmarked.
I would avoid this one like the plague, unless you want one as a filler.
Cheers,
John S.

Not disputing that this is a copy, but I am disputing the white metal reference. The badge I photographed for my book is an original badge that belonged to a friend's father who was in the U of A COTC, and it is browned Cu.
