Royal Marines Lovat Uniforms started to be introduced in 1964.

Not forgetting CL for Cliff Leader which was the forerunner to ML. There were also a number of gunnery badges in Lovats as well.

Yes, Specialist Qualification (Branch Badges) for Lovats but not worn after about 1984.
This extract from 1984 Dress Regulations shows that on Lovats Specialist Qualification (Branch Badges) were only to be worn by Band and Bugler ranks, Tim
