Default 9th Gurkhas

Thought I'd share a recent acquisition - another 9G cap badge variant that I've not seen before and not in the Gurkha Museum's book on the insignia - dates to the 1920's or 30's - with what I think is the original cloth backing. Tim

Hi Simon - it has round lugs - one maybe an old replacement . I'm doing particularly well on 9GR insignia - there are only 3 variants of cap badge illustrated in the Museum's book on the insignia of the Regt that I don't have in my collection. But I have 7 variants that the Museum doesn't have. One day I'll put a frame together but not before I've found examples of the 3 I'm missing !

Tim,

Many thanks for the image, was unaware just how many variations there were, good luck with the last three, will obviously let you know should I find anything similar.

Regards, Simon.
