Millfield CCF badge
Has anyone got a picture of the reverse of one of these?

Ive got a front view that's all. Silver anodised badge. Im pretty sure that its on lugs east and west.

There are obverse and reverse images in Chris Marsh's A/A book, p. 385. BTW, it is slidered.

Sorry Alan, i cant help you. Not the most common CCf badge though.

That's the badge. the construction seems very poor. I have seen a lugged example that is die cast and it is also poorly made. It would seem that the CCF did not buy them from any of the quality badge makers.

Having ended in the 1990's, I have it on good authority that Millfield School CCF is likely to reform soon wearing badges of the Welsh Guards.

The Head in the 1970s stopped the CCF being compulsory but did not close it entirely and it continued despite the Head's dislike of it.

Correct Alan,I was at Millfield school until 1980 and the C.C.F. was still in existence then.
