Mil Col badge on flooring
I am interested in researching the Royal Military College of Canada Crest, which is in the wood flooring of the College's Yeo Hall for e-veritas, the RMC Club alumni journal. I am interested in learning more about badges inset in flooring in general, and those floors featuring the badges of the Canadian Military Colleges in particular.

When 1st Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment had a new facility built in Petawawa in the early 1990s, there was a large RCR badge set in the floor. Heaven forbid if any unfortunate soldier was caught stepping on it.
As a technician who was required to walk on floors to get to various jobs, I found it extremely silly. Phil |
