Default Badge collection on eBay

Interesting lot but outside my main scope of interest so unsure if the badges tot up to the asking price. Also no idea if there are restrikes in the collection.

The images arent great ,but i suspect that there will be a large number of duffers. Probaly overpriced but id want to actually see and handle them before i parted with any money.

A large percentage of fakes with a lot of familiar common restrikes in there.

If it is his fathers collection it is typical of those collected off ebay with no knowledge of originality, as we have seen often on here. If its not his fathers collection and he's using that as a cunning sales ploy (what? on Ebay I hear you ask) then hes a wrongun.

Dont waste any money on this lot.

regards

Many more fakes than genuine that I can see. Actually, I can't really see any that appear good.

As stated the British Army cap badges are mostly repros.

From what I can see I can tell just from fronts that +80% are obvious duffers.

Landfill is the best place for most of that collection.

May be the clue is in the dealers name `djshatty`? He does declare however that the collection is from his father.
