Judging by the badges in Owen's book, I would guess that it is an Ugandan Protectorate General Service button. Regards Andrew

Hello RMR

Traist is spot on and your button is Edwardian and was time framed Circa 1902-1910.I have a common victorian one in gilt and will post it if I can find it.I think the badges are fairly difficult to come by!
