Default Iron-On/Sew-On Patches Question

I see a lot of Iron-On/Sew-On patches on eBay and some I think would fit into my areas of collecting. However, because of the "Iron-On" aspect I shy away from getting them, suspecting they are just an aftermarket fake.

My question is, are any of these types of patches MOD approved or used, or is it best just to pass them by?

Thanks in advance,

Terry

Terry,

We wear an iron on patch. I am not sure how it is procured but they are Army Dress committee approved.

MH331, Thank you very much for your reply and info. May I ask what regiment you're with and which patches are iron-on?

Maybe I need to reconsider some of those I have passed by!

Terry
