Royal Sussex slider named Tivey - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

I bought this cap badge at a motorcycle autojumble this weekend.

I have looked up the name Tivey on the WW1 Medal index and found 65, none of which appear have been in the Royal Sussex Regiment but I realise that WW1 soldiers often transferred from one unit to another and of course it could date from WW2.

So can anyone help with a date for this badge and any other clue as to the identity of Mr Tivey? Thanks, Rob.

This type of badge was worn from 1906 up to 1958 (and possible longer by TA) both regulars, TF and cadets alike.
