Question The King's own Royal Regiment

Hello,

This might sound like a silly question but has the Lion on the King's own Royal Regiment cap badge always faced to the left?

I was given an example today which was found in a shed, the lion faces to the right, it is in GM and is lugged. Could it be a cap badge or is it a collar badge?

Best Wishes Dave Moore

Collar badge me old mucker. Some of the lions are quite large and could well be confused for cap badges facing the wrong way to those new to the game.

Worn in mirror image pairs as collar badges. David
