Hello Phil, not my main area of collecting formation signs but as far as I’m aware the second one is 6th Armoured Division, worn I think up until the late 50’s.The 3rd is 78th Infantry Division and then 11th Infantry Brigade.The last one I think is a drummers arm badge, I’m sure other more knowledgeable members will confirm.

The German badge appears to be an Army breast egale.

US Army 40th Infantry Division FA Artillery Section SSI patch

Ignore this , I didn't count the points on the star !

The yellow 11 point star on a red square is likely to be North Malaya District 1957-1963. The the red and yellow sign below is possibly an arm of service strip for the Royal Armoured Corps.

the german eagle is the bevo weave 1937 introduced other ranks tunic eagle worn on the chest

May I ask if the German badge, which predates the war, was worn during the war and by who?

It is a woven type ww2 Heer breast eagle.
