Default Battersea GS Cadet Corps

Battersea GS CC was recognised in 1914. It had its own cap badge as shown which has photos of it in use 1932-WW2. Circa 1941 the CC badged to the RTR and wore a black beret.

I have found this photo in the BGS archive. The title is ACF camp 1930s. The 3rd photo is the CC officers in the 1920s.

However the badges do not seem to be the BGS cap badge and eagle collars. Would anyone hazard a guess as to which badges they are? Possibly 23rd London Regt? They were the local regiment and had strong ties with the schools in Battersea https://ww1wandsworth.wordpress.com/...november-1914/

I was wondering is the shield badge dates from 1930 onwards and came about because of the withdrawal of official recognition in that year?

I have a bird on torse as per the first image, but it is just that, on west/east lugs, no shield, a Battersea collar badge? (Although it seems rather delicate).

You are right that it is one of the collar badges which were worn with the shield cap badge. I was wondering whether one of the boys on the right of the tent entrance in photo 2 above has the eagle rather than 23rd collars?

Thanks, yes, looks like the left hand (as worn) collar.
