Nope never seen one or heard of one before tonight. It would surely have to be in vertical rows. The Gloucestershire white on red title is big enough on it's own.

Embroidered Red on white

Probably an error carried forward through various editions of the COSA fro 1970! Was it (to be) a red on white title perhaps reading ‘RRGH’ or just ‘ACF’?

Tim

Anyone got one???
Produced to be worn by the Army Cadet Force Detachments affiliated to the Royal Regiment of Gloucestershire and Hampshire.
NSN CB 8455-99-135-1415, COSA December 1980

Marc,
Excellent! So white on red NOT red on white as described in COSA 1984

Is that an actual badge or a mock up?

No-one seems to have posted a photo of the shoulder titles yet, so here's my contribution . . .

Real badge demanded with the NSN quoted from the 1984 COSA.

So available from the system 10 years after the date of formation for a regiment that never existed! No wonder the MOD budget was always overspent! In the early 1970s (oil crisis, three day week etc.) QMs were removing light bulbs from barrack rooms and offices to save money.
