RSAR question
Was there a period in the 1960s/70s when the Royal South Australia Regiment wore green backings on its collar badges and a green lanyard? I have recently come across some evidence of this, but can't pin it down exactly. Perhaps it was when the 43rd Bn was reformed for a while in the mid 60s? Any information gratefully received.

I haven't had any replies to this post but I have since discovered that the re-raised 43rd Battalion (1967-75), aka The Bushmen's Rifles, did wear a rifle green lanyard to distinguish it from the 10th and 27th Bn elements of the RSAR. I still haven't confirmed the green backings on the collar badges, but I have found a couple with this embellishment, so I suspect these are also 43rd Bn peculiarities.
