Default Queensland University Regiment

Another university regiment for the list.

Sorry about the background.

That badge is mounted on a large cardboard square with a couple of dozen others and I photographed it in situ.

Tried to clean it up with Paint Shop pro.

In future I will not take the lazy way out and will remove all badges that I photograph and use a decent background

Not a bad effort for someone who is just starting to take pictures and post them up. Experiment with different light backrounds camera setting.... macro feature if your camera has it... flash... no flash.... it makes the hobby even more enjoyable to be able to show off your collection. Nice badge and keep up the good work.. Jim

Thanks Jim .........I appreciate the comment.

Strange as I thought that photo of the Queensland Uni Regt was the worst that I have done so far.

It was on a cardboard square with a number of other badges - the corners of which I had to airbrush out and the badge itself looked pretty insiped

I had intended to experiment with various backgrounds (I thought that I would chase a small folder of samples from a draper) and also without flash.

It is a pity that my digital camera does not have interchangeable lenses and a time exposure like my 35mm ones .

I am saving my rarer items until I become proficient but the trouble is that, having so many, I do not know where to start.
