Combined Operations Patch
Another recent pick up from the carboot..
I have posted up a pair of these before and so have seen the great reference page on the various styles/dates ... therefore would I be correct in assuming this is an example of a WW2 period patch. Cheers Gary |

Gary (and all)
This site may be of interest if you have not come across it before http://www.combinedops.com/INSIGNIA%20SPECIMENS.htm Mike Steve - a good question - it would be good to know if there was anything else ... Last edited by Mike B; 11-02-16 at 04:58 PM. |

Thanks chaps thought I had replied to say the other bits did not seen connected .. a blue RASC cloth title and what looks to be an RN padded cloth cap badge black with red ..
Looking at that combined Ops site this one seems close to either no 9 or 15 ? Cheers Gary |

The other badges may well not be connected but the RN badge may be if the chap was a Royal Naval / Beach Commando. It is notoriously difficult to assign WW2 Combined Operations badges to specific units - unless you find them in an 'attributed' grouping. Mike |
