Default Can one trace a ww2 RAF guy

Chaps ive picked up some bits to a RAF wireless operator.
There's a group pic in front of a horsa glider, that includes an officer with glider wings sitting in the front.
Also came with crossed rifles and his RAF service and release book.
He also has a CARD FOR GOOD SERVICE signed by Louis Mountbatten, dated Jan 29th 1946, with SUPREME ALLIED COMMANDER. SOUTH EAST ASIAN emblem at top.
Guys details are 938822 Sgt S. Oliver
Any ideas on how I can trace what he did guys please?
Regards
