Default Unknown Worcestershire Badge For Identification Please

Does any forum member have any idea what this badge is for please ? It may not even be military/ Its a good quality badge made of bronze and has a pinback fastening to the rear.

Will be offered for sale once identified.

There was one of these on ebay I think it was listed as "Volunteers" not that I know if it is.

Edit: I don't know what it is but the one still on evilbay is listed as "Worcestershire rifle volunteers Sweetheart Brooch Veteran Badge Cast Bronze".

The pear is associated with the Worcestershire Yeomanry a possible connection.

Might just be a county pin, rather than military. Much like Warwickshire's Bear and Ragged Staff.

I think you are probably correct. The pear tree/blossom has been a symbol of Worcestershire for many centuries. It is a nice item though.
