Default Bucks BN or Red Cross?

Hi,
Is the shoulder title Bucks BN or maybe Red Cross.
Also can any one confirm the York's badge is an officer's collar, it is rather large for a collar.
Last query, never seen a half size South Lancs badge before, is a beret badge?
Thanks
John

The South Lancs smaller sized badge was introduced during the 1950's, commonly referred to as a beret badge, Alan O has pointed out thatit was, as were smaller sized badges for some other units, introduced to replace the larger badge in other headgear as well.

John,

I believe all your assumptions are correct, OSD Collar, BRCS shoulder title and the post WW2 small size cap badge for wear on the Beret (and possibly other head dress)

regards
