Default I identified collar badges

Your thoughts on the country off origin of this pair of collar badges would be most helpful. Thanks

French maybe? They have a certain Gaelic look about them.

Read Gallic; a small (but critical) typo I presume. Whilst I do not know what they are, the clutch fittings are very US looking, but the badges themselves are not.
Rather lacking in artistic design I must say.

Interesting badge. If we could ID the vehicle that might help narrow it down. The US uses 8 wheel armored car types, and the badge shows 6.

I also did a search for French, Belgian, Russian, Spanish and US and the closest I came to it is a French Foreign Legion badge. It's badge #7 on this page.

Will have to follow this to see what it finally turns out to be.

In terms of the vehicle, it looks potentially like it’s a French EBRC Jaguar to me, hence I would guess that they’re either French or Belgian badges.

A bit more thinking and research leads me to think that the vehicle looks more like a Panhard ERC-90 Sagaie than its modern replacement, the EBRC Jaguar.

If this is the case then it's likely that the badges could come from France, The Ivory Coast, Gabon or Nigeria.
