The latest addition to my collection of badges of The Royal Canadian Regiment arrived today.

The badge measures 2 1/4 inches across the points. Photos follow:

Question, is the badge a heavy gage brass or a light gage?

It's a relatively light gauge brass, the way the edges of the star are formed in the stamping give it the appearance of being thicker material. I don't know if it will help, but the badge masses 12 grams.
