Default Help Identifying Regiment/Corps

I'm trying to help someone identify the regiment/corps their great uncle, Arthur James Froud, served with during World War One. He indicated that he lived in Limekilns, Scotland at the time. I was unable to find any genealogy records outside of the military records. I have gathered a list of possible matches from Ancestry. Below is a link to a Goggle sheet that includes his photo and the possible matches. Based on the insignias of the possible matches and the photo I have hilited my best bets.

Any input you may provide would greatly be appreciated.

He is most likely to be a Royal Engineer.

Thank you. It seems that he was an engineer after the war, did mapping during. So this would fit. The person looking for the identity is going to ask around the family to see if he can piece together any more info.
