Bird Badge
Obtained this badge off of ebay from a seller who also didn't know what it is... I didn't want to be a chicken so I picked it up on spec... not sure if it's an albatross or if I should be burying my head in the sand on this one ... but am hoping to be flying like an eagle if someone can I.D. it...

Looks like a Liver Bird to me. Don`t think its military, could be a civil badge. Looks like a big gap between the bottom of the badge and the tip of the slider, are there any signs of a scroll that has been removed from the bottom?
Cheers, Dave

Dave... it doesn't appear to have had anything removed from it....just the bird by itself....

Jim,
Possibly seen a lot more action than a lot of other badges on the Forum. P.B.

They are certainly a unit with a fearsome reputation.
