Hi Confessor

It appears to be the badge of Elizabeth College, Guernsey, Officer Training Corps, according to this thread:

https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ead.php?t=9682

Hope this helps

Graham

It's later than the OTC but is Elizabeth College CCF c. 1950

http://www.jerseymilitia.co.uk/cadetpics2.html

The CCF subsequently adopted the Parachute regt badges until 1998 before briefly re-using this deisgn in cloth and now wears the PWRR badge.

An earlier pattern badge based on the Guernsey LI's bugle was used from 1908-40.

As it’s gilding metal it is the later OTC / JTC badge, also made in OSD Bronze, WM and silver plate. In 1955 the JTC changed to CCF and the same badge was made as a casting which was gilded, these are fairly scarce.

Embroidered ones came next after ‘Parent Regiment’ badges ie Para and them PWRR

Sorry OTC/JTC during German occupation? The OTC bugle badge was recorded in use in 1938. It ceased to be worn in 1940 for obvious reasons. All JTCs ceased to exist in 1948 when CCFs were created. The Semper Eadam badge is post war, I have yet to be able to find a date for the schools resurrection of the cadet force so it might have included a year of JTC status but I suspect its CCF.

Give them fair warning that this is not acceptable.

As they say, two strikes and they are out.

Regards.
