Hi mate,
He was happy to learn, thought it was just a variant. He was sold the set at auction, as genuine. Wasn't too happy to have been had himself, but, happy to refund me. Sorry, he wouldn't seperate the buttons as he is going to sort it out with the auctioneers. He said they are one of the reasons he thought the set was ok. Cheers, Phil

Just to "Tail Off" this thread, I still stick by my guns or should I say muskets? The badge shown at the start of this thread IMO is a 100% "FANTASY" item. They come lugged and slidered in both Gm and Wm and often with small spiked tabs rear of the awful crown !
Here are what they are trying to purport, a genuine slidered cap badge and a "One Piece" sleeve badge! Andy |
