Default Royal Pioneer Corps KC Gold Anodised

A Royal Pioneer Corps beret size badge in gold anodised with King's Crown and a brass slider maker marked GROVE MFG. B'HAM
A lucky purchase yesterday amongst a small lot of anodised cap badges and collar badges.

Default Royal Pioneer Corps KC AA

A nice find with an early metal slider.
I wonder what hagwalther can tell us about it?

Stephen.

Same as mine! You may find yourself getting a few PM's with this one. I was very surprised at the interest! Nice one. Well found.

Hi Guys,

Good badge which is scarce and valuable.

I have the same (swapped for a few spare items I had) except mine is painted in a bronze paint more in keeping with the brass badges of the day....

Regards

Chris

Default Any other makers

As those above, its ident with my copy too. GROVE is the only maker that I have seen on this particular badge.

If anyone has an example made by another firm, I'd be all ears. Nice little find.

Regards all

Bess

Yeah. I've got a box full of them - about 100 or so.

Just checked - mine are slightly different, in that they have QC, not KC.
