Default Talking about Nursing

With the revival of the Queen Alexander's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve thread, I would like to show this badge from the WW1 which started life as a civilian organization.
PAGET'S MASSAGE SERVICE in gilding metal.
I brought this badge from a well known dealer in the Doncaster area a few years back.

"Revival" since when exactly, I thought that service had not been extant since 1949!

The cap badge on Sally Bolsley’s site is £100 cheaper than the one on Geoff Newman Militaria . Both eye watering prices.

Sorry I just read your post, it was certainly not obvious to me, I did wonder if the name had indeed been restored within the Army, which would have been interesting.

I think that is a very handsome looking badge and one that appears to have been actually worn too, with slight wear to the crown.

No need to have deleted, now I realise what you are about, the thread behind this one which was actually"revived" by me, I had not noticed until after I posted regarding the pretty QAIMNS Reserve Sister, that it was an such old thread, I found it by accident whilst looking for something else, posted and only then noted the date.
PM not needed, it is me who should apologise!
