Default S.E.Sx. Title

A question for the forum...

A cloth shoulder title, red embroidered letters and border on khaki S.E.Sx.

Who wore it and when?

Thank you for looking and taking time to answer

Keith

Hello, It looks like a WVS title like the one shown.
S. E. Sx could be South East Sussex?? WVS titles come with the arc up or downwards.

Cool

I agree with Jerry, South East Sussex sounds ok, but were not the WVS titles red on grey?

This one looks to be on khaki.

Thank you for the information

The title is definitely red on khaki. The khaki cloth coarse like that on a WWI Soldiers tunic or WWII battledress tunic.

Did WVS wear BD? Could it be Army cadets?

Keith,

This title has remained unidentified for quite a few years.

South East Sussex is a logical interpretation but the Red Cross worked in counties ie Sussex and not SE Sussex. The WVS used towns or complete counties and as far as I have discovered never wore khaki uniforms.

Which leaves cadets?

Jon
