This is the design of the current AGC but looks brass not anodised. So Staff Pattern button (adopted by AGC). This design was also worn by Chaplain's Dept. (I have recently had a conversation with Cribyn about variations).

Sorry, I may be misreading your post.
The button in post no. 1. is stated to be anod. al.
Is it first pattern AGC?
Are you saying that it appears to be in brass and is current pattern AGC?
It's staff pattern?
