Look forward to that Pat.
So what are your thoughts on dating the NHY shoulder titles? When I’m back from the US I will show my next collection. BTW I still blame you for starting my interest in shoulder titles and then buttons. Cheers Dean

Lol, don’t blame me for your shoulder title addition Phileas Fogg!
NHY: I believe worn during inter war period as well, paucity of period photographs from which you can see the st but I have seen for another Yeo that depicts same style / abbreviation title. Found a larger pattern NHY in silver / SP, hope it’s of interest. Have a good trip and look forward to seeing your next set. Cheers Pat |

That's a splendid title thanks for sharing Pat. You have my postal address LOL. An Officer's example in SP I would have thought.
I agree on the dating as I had reviewed against other yeomanry regiment titles and cross-referenced dates to Westlake. Best regards Dean

Bit of a head scratcher WM QC.
So this one without the dot is good? Or a PRI one? I thought all Gaunt BHam marked NON anodised badges were fakes, copies, restrikes etc. Or have am I completely wrong? Chris |

I to think that it is likely that Gaunt Bham metal badges are 1970's products for the collectors' market. The Yeomanry badges were the first ones they reproduced and this included Q/C versions so they must have made new dies or used designs for the a/a ones.

I think that either new dies or the A/A dies were used thanks Alan and in both cases they are reproductions. I have a some photographic records for the Northumberland Hussars awaiting me in the UK so when next over in September I intend to review the QC badges being worn but as to whether I will be able to see a dot or not and the composition of the metal that I cannot say so.
Cheers Dean
