Pipers /Drummers Crossbelt badges Seaforth, 78th/72nd, Canadian, Imperial or Aussie?
I purchased this crossbely recently out of Australia, the seller informed me it had come out of an Scottish immigrants estate. It is in pretty good shape though it does require a cleaning. My question is what regiment wore it and what time frame. I collect Seaforth items both Imperial and Canadian, but this does'nt line up with anything I have seen. Specifically the Caber Feidh motto under the scroll. There are no names or maker marks or anything to speak of to indicate time frame or manufacture. Does anyone have any idea who may have worn this?$(KGrHqYOKioE32f0YpY0BOH8BLjowg~~_3.jpg

I also collect Imperial Seaforth militaria. I have not seen anything like this crossbelt in old photos/postcards or paintings. I would imagine it is a civilian item, maybe even something made for a veteran of the Seaforths or a civilian pipeband made up of Seaforth veterans.
