Default C.S.S. buttons.

Probably not military but I have no idea what they are. They have Firmin maker's marks.

A Diplomatic button, Soudan Civil Service.

Soudan Civil Service, wow, I wasn't expecting that. Thank you for identifying them for me.

They came with some larger unmarked domed brass buttons of roughly the size of those on O.S.D. They were made by Buttons Ltd and probably have no connection with the S C S buttons.

The SCS buttons are of the size used for epaulettes or pockets.
