Great shot of insignia in wear. What is the slip over his shoulder strap read?Cannot make it out.

Maj Slim extolling the virtues (if any) of the 62 Set - it was tropicalised but not waterproofed - not ideal for Malaya. Mike

Usually a two man operation as well ... one to 'manpack' the set and another for the battery! Can remember the pneumonic for setting it up - 'Recently London Has Had Air Raids Now Diversions Are Made Covering Kent'!! Damned if I can remember all the functions now.

Could they be SAS metal titles?
Were they issued that early?
I've only even seen them worn once (by the RSM 22 SAS , in parade KD) but that was a decade or so later later.
