Default Escape Compass

Hi all do not know if this is a modern Escape Compass or a copy of one? Any insights appreciated Billy

Billy,
I once owned about 29 of these now mostly sold. A WW2 (and possibly later) RAF escape compass which was included in emergency/escape packs. They were also concealed in buttons with a reverse thread.
They have been reproduced I believe?

Thanks Steve, thanks Tim.

It is mint if WW2, that said more than happy to know it isn’t a copy! Yet!

Tim would love to find a button to put it into, was also fitted into rear of the Royal Marines Globe, again love to find one of them badges!

they have been copied,but this to me looks the same as original examples i own, so dont panic lol
