Help identify regimental insignia
Hi there,
An old friend, when talking about our respective father’s war service, gave me the attached belt buckle saying it was a Hampshire Regt insignia, the regiment in which my late father served. I know a tiger features in their wartime cap badge and older patterns of collar badges too but I can’t find anything like this exact type. Can anyone confirm this does have a Hampshire Regiment insignia or, if not, what it might be please. Attachment 210952 Attachment 210952 Attachment 210953 Many thanks in anticipation, Kevin |

Looks like the Royal Leicestershire's version of the tiger and wreath, the tiger is facing the "wrong" way so perhaps a collar badge affixed to the belt plate.

Could also be a royal Anglian officers collar badge

Thank you gentlemen for the suggestions. I didn't think it was Hampshire related. The size of the insignia does look like a collar badge.
Regards, Kevin. |

That is a Leicestershire Regt. collar badge affixed to the belt buckle.
