Interesting wear of the hackle, fitting the curve of the caubeen rather than standing proud.
A current practise of the unit or an individual affectation?

So are the Parachute Regiment,s Pony Major (used to be Cpl Soames in the late 80,s I think) and the Welsh Regiment,s Goat Major getting something similar?
