Name Written on a Tunic Label. The Marquis of?

Can anyone identify the handwritten detail on this label please?

It's stated to have come from a tunic and accompanies a pair of Rifle Brigade Lt Colonels BD shoulder straps and an early 1950's junior officer's Rifle Brigade forage cap.

The handwriting looks like "The Most Hon Marquis of ??????? June 1950".

Tigerlilly thinks maybe the Marquis of Carisbrooke, that title died with the 1st Marquis in 1960.
A flamboyant character, he served in the RN, army and RAF, his army service being during WWI with the Grenadier Guards.

It could be that the label may not be connected with the original owner / owners of the shoulder strap and cap.

I have to say that after editing the photo to enhance the writing, I would agree with Tigerlily’s suggestion.

Distant family connection

The Marquis of Carisbrooke's two brothers served with the Rifles during WW1 , one (Maurice) died in 1914 and the other (Lord Leopold Mountbatten) died in 1922 .

A long shot but could a member of "Mountbatten" family have served in Rifle Brigade post WW2.

Thanks, I would imagine that the label has no connection to the cap and straps unless the items come from different generations of the Marquis's family but then I bought the "grouping" for the cap, the shoulder straps come as a bonus, the label just with them, at best semi-provenance which it doesn't appear to be.
I'll keep the cap, straps and label together anyway.

Edit, I've just seen mike vee's post, yes, could be the case.
I'll see if the seller can tell me any more.
