BRONZE DRAKE BADGE

I purchased a LARGE bronze DRAKE badge in the late 80s but put it in the "junk" box having been informed by a well known military auctioneer that it was a fake. However, i still have my doubts and retrieve it from the bin now and again.

As you can see the badge has eight longitude rings and the UK looks about right compared with other badges.

I have seen at least one photograph where an officer is wearing a large bronze collar badge so I do not discount it because it is not a small collar badge.

Thoughts please.

I’m afraid to say the auction house were correct. It is not an original badge, sorry.
