Could anyone tell me anything about these badges? I would like to know how old and which rank?

They are Officers Rank badges or Pips. Maybe someone else can date them, there are different styles and colours.
1 = 2nd Lieutenant.
2 = Lieutenant.
3 = Captain.

Known as Bath Stars, in addition to the 3 ranks listed they are also worn
by

Lt Col - 1 Crown and one pip
Col - 1 Crown and two pips

A Brigadier wears 1 Crown and 3 pips of a smaller size

Default Rank pips

Thank you for this information. Is there any way of dating them roughly?

Made in huge numbers and very difficult to date with any precision. The type you have are made in various metals and these rank stars/pips were worn from the 1890s through to the 1960s in many styles on different forms of dress. Some metal types are still worn today although now mostly made in anodised.
Some examples in my album https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...hp?albumid=498
