Default Leicestershire 'Hindoostan' fake or repaired?

This Leicestershire badge is of unusual construction - which make me doubt it authenticity.
The 'Hindoostan' scroll is not of a construction I've seen before, and the bottom scroll is solid unlike any others I've seen.
Is it genuine or has it been repaired?

Best Wishes,

Sean

Is it cast, rather than struck?

The Tiger appears to be struck and the rest cast.

The Tiger is indeed just a thick strike. A strange badge that I have not seen before, especially the top scroll. But I like it. Very nice strong details.

CB

PS, I would give it a good clean as that green is corrosion and not good for the tiger's health.

I'll give it a gentle clean but not a polish

Thanks for your help!
Sean
