Default Help with WW1 A.I.F patch identification

Can any help IDing this patch on a AIF jacket . The subject is a New Zealander serving with the A.I.F .

I am trying to identify unknown WW1 soldiers on my Face book page , Unknown warriors of the NZEF .

Railway Operating Companies.

Red square, purple diamond. Often with a brass numeral in the centre designating the company.

well there is an awesome book on colour patches that a Keith Glyde wrote. well worth getting a copy if you can
