16th Infantry Battalion (British Columbia Scottish) C.E.F.
16th Infantry (British Columbia Scottish) Battalion. Unfortunately he wasn't able to remain completely still whilst the photograph was being taken.

Nice image.
Curious about the naming. The 16th Bn was a composite battalion, with two companies recruited from British Columbia (the 50th Gordon Highlanders and 72nd Seaforth Highlanders) and a company from Manitoba, the 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada, and a company from Hamilton's 91st Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. The name derived from this was the Canadian Scottish.
