Default Queens own rifles

Hello! I bought this nice badge...a queens own rifles of Canada...I think is wartime (because it is brass..or bronze.. not white metal), but I am not sure...the red cloth behind the 2 is really dark because of the dust. What do you think? Thank you!!!

Hi Trubia26. The badge you posted is a pre-1914 glengarry badge for the Queen's Own Rifles.

That is good enough Trubia26. The planchets used before the FWW were lighter than later.
