C & A is well established European clothing retailer with many branches in the UK.
I would imagine it was a doorman/lift man cap badge, chromed so probably 1940' to 1960's period. regards

This badge was the subject of an identification query in the February 2010 edition of the Military Historical Society Bulletin. I am searching subsequent editions to see if it was subsequently identified.

I have been unable to find any identification of the 'IC&A' badge in subsequent MHS Bulletins. The original enquiry in 2010 was made by Vernon Horsfield.
