Default Sherwood Foresters Officers badge

Hi All,

just like to share my latest aquisition - Victorian Sherwood Foresters officers cap badge. This is the second of these I have bought and definately my favourite cap badge. Must be in the top 10 of badges ! The enameled back plate could do with removing and a quick clean with soapy water but I am wary of trying to lift the 2 brass retaining pins. I tried to lift one on another badge and it almost snapped so won't be doing that again in a hurry...

Cheers, Mark

Very nice badge Mark. Worn on the Officer’s forage cap 1881-1896. Cheers Dean

Fairy liquid and a toothbrush will clean that with no damage.
