Oh dear have I upset someone ?....sorry but I did say it was only my opinion. However, I did base this on two facts ;

First this one is listed in at least one repro dealers List.

Secondly, the design of the garter (apart from looking "blotched") is typical of the pattern used by the repro and fantasy badges currently available by several sites on the Web.

Admittedly, I have not seen or handled this particular one, but, the photo alone makes me very wary. However, as long as the vendor is offering a money-back guarantee it may be worth the risk.
On receipt, check for a copper-gilt garter, not gilding-metal. Regards Jeff
