Default British Honduras / Belize Garrison

Hi would anyone know if there was ever an issued arm badge for this Garrison. I was there in 1978 but was never issued with any such badge, perhaps before my time. There was a name board outside Garrison HQ at Airport Camp of a Sailfish on a red background which I assume was the Garrison badge.
Attached is a photo of a British Honduras Garrison wall shield.
Thanks Neil

This badge exists and was apparently only worn for Belizean Independence Day in 1981 by British Forces Belize.

The residual stocks of these badges were offered to British Army Training Support Unit Belize (BATSUB), but were rejected.

The sailfish design was originally used on stationery and sign boards, but not worn as a badge, by British Honduras Garrison as shown on the plaque.

The 1st post shows a "British Honduras Garrison wall shield"
Was this garrison dominated by Royal Engineers as the background seems to be RE colours??
Jerry.

My shield / plaque British Forces Belize from 1982, I certainly didn't see any cloth during my time. Trying to obtain a BDF cap badge took me the best part of my tour.

Like Destro1918 I was there after the country changed its name to Belize in 1973. There was a RE squadron at APC when I was doing my 6 months in 78 with 1 KOSB, but can't remember which one. The vertical strips on the wall shield in post one are black.
Unlike many people I enjoyed my time in Belize and developed a life long taste for rum. Happy days.

Here is an Airport Camp Regimental Police brassard c. late 1980s/early 1990s, obtained from a mate on 6 month detachment out there. For interest I'm also showing a Belize Defence Force "Force Police" brassard, obtained at the same time. Both images are photographs of a small section of a shiny photographic print, hence the poor quality.

Thanks for sharing Graham, just wondering if anyone collects Belize Defence Force insignia. I may start my own collection as Wessex Volunteers/ Regiment that I haven't got is hard to come by.

Neil, I've been stuck in Queensland since March 2020, but if you can remind me when I'm back in UK I can find you an example of the Embroidered British Force Belize sign as described by Tim. Two printed signs survived from a small batch commissioned by HQ UKLF in, I think, 1979. I have one and the other is in a collection in SW England. I think my example features in Jon Mill's book.
